Ministry of industry and information technology: China’s Internet of things …

China’s Internet of things industry has reached 750 billion yuan, and leading Internet companies have become an important emerging force in the development of the Internet of things, lu xi, inspector of the science and technology department of the ministry of industry and information technology, said at the 2016 world Internet of things expo on Sunday afternoon. In the field of Internet of things, China’s voice in setting international standards has been significantly increased.

Lu said that in recent years, relevant departments have formulated and implemented 10 special action plans for the development of the Internet of things, and the central government has allocated 2 billion yuan of special funds for the development of the Internet of things for four consecutive years. Mainly reflected in:

First, effective improvement of innovation capacity. In the chip, sensor, intelligent terminal, middleware, architecture, standards and other fields to achieve a large number of research results. Optical fiber sensors and infrared sensor technologies have reached international advanced levels. Uhf smart CARDS, microwave passive radio frequency identification (RFID) and beidou chip technologies have been greatly improved. MEMS sensors have been mass-produced.

China has accelerated the establishment of a standard system for the Internet of things, and promoted the standardization of the Internet of things from the aspects of basic commonalities and industrial applications. More than 900 standard items have been sorted out, and the “overview of the Internet of things” and other standards have become the first overall standards for the international Internet of things.

Second, the industrial scale is growing rapidly. Through the construction of national Internet of things industrial bases in wuxi, chongqing, hangzhou, fujian and other places successively, the industrial agglomeration pattern of Internet of things in bohai rim, Yangtze river delta, pan-pearl river delta and central and western regions has been formed, and a relatively complete industrial chain of Internet of things including chips, components, equipment and software has been built. A large number of leading enterprises with strong strength have emerged, and Internet leading enterprises have become an important emerging force for the development of the Internet of things. The Internet of things industry has reached 750 billion yuan.

Third, application demonstration continued to deepen. It has played a significant role in improving the quality and efficiency of industries such as industry, agriculture, energy and logistics, and in transforming and upgrading industries. The integrated development with the mobile Internet has promoted unprecedented innovation in household, health, old-age care, entertainment and other applications for people’s livelihood. A number of mature operating service platforms and business models have been formed in the fields of intelligent transportation, Internet of vehicles, and medical and health care.

“In 2015, the Internet of things industry in jiangsu province achieved business revenue of 360.7 billion yuan, maintaining a high-speed growth of more than 30% for many years in a row.” Gong huaijin said jiangsu has broken through a number of core and key technologies that restrict industrial development and application promotion in the fields of information sensing, data transmission, collaborative processing and intelligent control. By 2020, in terms of industrial scale, the business revenue of the Internet of things industry in jiangsu province will strive to exceed 900 billion yuan, forming a large number of innovative small and medium-sized enterprises with strong competitiveness.
